P-25 BER Test

STI is able to interface compatible P-25 mobile or portable radios and decode a received Project 25 standard 1011 Hz test pattern being transmitted by a base station to measure BER, RSSI and Quality of Service metrics during drive-test or indoor projects. These measurements and the location of readings from a GPS are displayed on screen and then saved into the measurement database. This measurement process is repeated continuously during the drive-test throughout the goegraphic area of intrest. The STI Field Test 7 completely automates the drive test data acquisition, recording of BER, RSSI and QoS from data returned by the P-25 radio and report of the coverge test results.

These can be set at both Narrowband and 25 kHz settings to take the guess-work out of your Narrowband Migration.

Currently availible for VHF, UHF, 700 and 800 MHz P-25 systems with transmitters that are able to produce the 1011 Hz. Test Tone (a standard capability). Compatible with STI Field Test 7, STI-9400 and STI-9450
