General Purpose Instruments
General Dynamics R8000B Communications System Analyzer
Frequency Range from up to 3 GHz. The R8000b Interface will automate measurements on a series of channels and record signal power levels about 1 per second, It will also conduct Bit Error Rate measurements on a P-25 test pattern during drive-tests.
Frequency Range from 2 MHz to 1 GHz operation. The 3500 Interface will automate measurements on a series of channels and record signal power levels, or Bit Error Rate on a P-25 test pattern during a drive-test.
Frequency Range from 2 MHz to 1 GHz operation. The 3550 Interface will automate measurements on a series of channels and record signal power levels, modulation fidelity or Bit Error Rate on a P-25 test pattern during a drive-test.
Aeroflex 3900 Series Digital Radio Test Set
Frequency Range from 1 MHz to 2.7 GHz. The 3900 series will automate measurements of signal power levels, P-25 Bit-Error-Rate or modulation fidelity from over the air reception of a P-25 or TETRA signals during drive-tests.
Aeroflex IFR COM-120B
Frequency Range from 250kHz to 1GHz. Interface will automate a series of measurements and record signal power levels at one or more frequencies during a drive-test.
Agilent / HP Spectrum Analyzers
Interface drivers offered for the Agilent ESA 44xx series and HP 85xx series for example. Cost depends on hardware requirements (HPIB or RS-232) and the frequency ranges vary by device, see specification of your analyzer and contact STI to see if your Agilent is compatible
Frequency Ranges from 100 kHz to 1.6 GHz. The S412D interface will allow signal strength measurements as well as BER measurements on P-25 1011Hz test pattern.
Anritsu 2711 or 2721 handheld SA
Interfaces to MS 27XX B, D, E series and the instruments that incorporate them. The MS2711D is controlled via an RS-232 this interface is also compatible with the S332D and the MT8212B. The STI Interface to MS2721 is via network connection and is compatible with the MS2123B, MS2724B and the MT8222A. There is also and E series interface that utilizes a USB connection.
Analog to Digital Converter Interface
This hardware and software option provides a general purpose interface to electronics of all types. The A/D converter accepts up to 4 input voltages from +/- 10 Volts. A table can be created to convert RSSI voltage to calibrated signal strength. The A/D converter is also used for Audio Quality Testing of analog mobile radio voice links.
